Дэйв Карсон обнаруживает на своем участке золотоносную жилу. Для того чтобы отстоять свои права на участок от наглых посягательств местного мэра и его бандитской шайки, он призывает на подмогу своих троих лучших друзей – Стони Брока, Тачсона Смита и Лаллаби Джослина. Эту неразлучную троицу храбрых ковбоев народ называет «Три мушкетера». Мэр, поняв, что золото может уйти из его хищных лап, решает покончить с настоящим владельцем. Приспешники мэра убивают Дэйва и его маленькую дочь, а подкупленный судья обвиняет невиновного Стони Брока в этом преступлении и сажает его за решетку, вдобавок ко всему возмущенные жители городка требуют суда Линча над невинно арестованным, окружая здание тюрьмы. Кажется, что печальный финал не минуем, но это не так, потому что в последнюю минуту главному герою на помощь приходят его верные друзья, которые всегда, – «Один за всех и все за одного»…
